So, this recipe of mine from…2010? Omg. Well, I guess the fact that the baby that was born with this blog is now 11 and taller than me, should have given me a clue.
But I digress. I’ve been making this gefilte fish loaf recipe every year for the last 11 years and it is a hit every. single. time. I do not use carp for this recipe as I live in the middle of nowhere (yes, my kneidlach and matzah are delivered), I make the mix in the food processor (easier for the machine to do half at a time) and either bake it in a bread loaf pan, or, for my new favorite method, I separate the mixture into 2, wrap each loaf tightly in a few layers of plastic wrap and boil in water for a few minutes. Like so:

As opposed to the lovely rectangular slices the baking method yields, this will give you pretty rounds. Like so.

I highly recommend this gefilte fish recipe, you guys. It never fails to please.
Happy Passover everyone!
