Except boiling the noodles, this recipe involves no cooking. Mix a few ingredients, place in a fancy bowl, top with green onions and serve to very impressed children. Or adults, if you happen to have a life.
So good! The original recipe came from the pioneer woman. This is my adaptation.
1 lb/16 oz/453 grams soba noodles, spaghetti, spaghettini, whatever noodles you like – cooked, drained and rinsed. Still warm.
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp sugar or sugar substitute
3 large garlic cloves, minced/crushed
2 Tbsp rice vinager or white vinegar
3 Tbsp sesame oil
3 Tbsp neutral oil like canola/vegetable oil
1 tsp chili oil
5 green onions, bottoms discarded, sliced thin
Preparation
Mix all dressing ingredients except green onions. Mix with warm noodles and sprinkle with green onions.
Delicious!
